The men of The Wanted stopped by The Kyle and Jackie O Show (Australian radio) and gamely responded to Lance Bass's theory that at least one member of every boy band is gay.

As Jason Collins was debating the when, where, and how of coming out, who did he turn to for advice?

Apparently one former pop star, Lance Bass!

A mutual friend connected the two and Bass told his Dirty Pop radio show listeners the advice that he shared with Collins as he geared up for his big announcement.

Did his trademark frosted tips seep into his brain cells during his time in NSYNC and shield him from reality or does Lance Bass really think that not a single soul had a clue he was gay before he publicly stated it with a ticker tape parade and a People Magazine cover?

Lance appeared on the lovable Ricki Lake's resurrected daytime show to discuss his decision to come out, a difficult choice given that he believes nobody ever guessed for a second that he might have a bad case of the gay. 

Well this is just...everything!

We're super excited about Lance Bass's new documentary, Mississippi: I Am, which screened today at Outfest in Los Angeles!

It's not only because we're still pressed over all things NSync* (though seriously guys, a small reunion tour in a few major cities would kill NO ONE), we're primarily excited because it's shining a light on the stories of young people growing up LGBT in a small town and in a less than "progressive" state.

While "it gets better" (hopefully) once you make your way to New York, LA, San Francisco, etc. it's important to share the stories of those that aren't in these major cities because, guess what, if we share those stories it might get better there too!
