Westboro, still not understanding that its lunacy and often-confusing signs afford its targets more positivity nowadays than the negativity it intends, took the bait and agreed to protest Fargo's play. Producers of an updated version of The Laramie Project are hoping to find 100 theatres across the country to schedule a reading of the new play on October 12. The Laramie Project: Ten Years Later includes new interviews with the voices of the original production, as well as an interview with Aaron McKinney, one of the men convicted of murdering Matthew Shepard. According to Playbill, 50 theatres have already committed to a reading of the play on the agreed-upon date, and director Moisés Kaufman is confident at least 50 more will signup for the 80-minute play.
