After endorsing a presidential ticket (and dozens of other candidates) that promised a constitutional amendment banning marriage equality, "LGBT" group GOProud has suddenly undergone major heart surgery to finally support the civil rights issue.

My, what could've happened to spark such an about face?

While ogling hot go-go boys wearing skimpy, belly-baring GOProud-branded apparel, members of the homocon group danced away the first night of the Republican National Convention at Tampa's Honey Pot nightclub. But it was what GOProuders were willing to admit that was truly revealing.

Gay republicans are ready to partaaay! (Yeah, that didn't feel right to us either.)

GOProud will hold its Homocon 2012 event on August 28 following the Republican National Convention in Tampa, Florida and GOProud's executive director Jimmy LaSalvia promises that  "Homocon 2012 will be the must have ticket for the RNC."

We bet everyone's tripping over themselves to get in.
