We certainly lost a great one earlier this week. Phyllis Diller broke the original glass ceiling for funny females, along the way bashing stereotypes, championing the underdogs and becoming the queen of comedy. While tributes have been pouring in (and rightfully so), we wanted to share one of our favorite pieces to run in Instinct, when Phyllis took over the Soapbox to share hilarious wisdom back in 2007...

Tough news to report this morning: disco legend Donna Summer, singer of the hits that still play on dance floors today such as "I Feel Love" and "Last Dance," has died at age 63 after a long battle with breast cancer.
