It seems like every time Oklahoma's lead bigot Sally Kern makes a dangerously ignorant homophobic remark, the entire country reacts with audible contempt—the entire country except for Oklahoma's government, that is. Why, even after receiving 200,000 emails asking lawmakers to speak out against Sally's hate-mongering vitriol, does Oklahoma's government (on both sides of the aisle) refuse to break the silence?

We've been keeping you up to speed on the safe-sex adverts that were first pulled off Brisbane, Australian bus stops after homophobic letters of complaint reached the advertising host, then returned after an international outcry. Following is a video of safe-sex and hiv/aids activists acting out the anti-gay letters of complaint that inspired Adshel to initially remove the ads. 

Our parents told us a story (because we weren't born until 1995, according to our fake I.D.) of the controversy the still-cool then Madonna incited in the mid-90s after dropping the F-Bomb on The Late Show with David Letterman. Now, a letter Her Madgesty wrote under her popular penname "The Anti-Christ" and sent to Letterman in response to the controversy has surfaced, and will go on auction next month.
