Shockingly (read: not shockingly), Queen Latifah didn't actually come out as a lesbian when she performed at Long Beach's Gay Pride event in May.

Still, she's got nothing but love for the gays (whether she happens to be one of us or not).

In a true show of "pride" (It's Long Beach's Gay Pride Weekend), the city has announced that they will break ground this month on the very first park in America to be named after civil rights and LGBT leader Harvey Milk.

Word on the interwebs is that Queen Latifah has come out as a lesbian. While that would be lovely, if true—we love us some Latifah and would happily welcome her into the fold—we’re a little confused because we’ve yet to see, hear, or read a word from Queen Latifah actually coming out.
