With Magic's out gay son, EJ, suddenly in the public eye, Magic has taken this as an opportunity to combat homophobia and promote love and acceptance.

Aww! There's a lot of love in the Johnson family.

Magic's son, EJ, who's gotten a lot of coverage the last few days after publicly appearing with his boyfriend, sent a shout out to his parents over Twitter today. (Both parents expressed their pride in their son yesterday.)

The world was introduced to Magic Johnson's fabulous gay son, Earvin Jr., yesterday and we were thrilled to learn that EJ's parents support him 100%!

Well they're not the only ones. Fellow Los Angeles Laker Kobe Bryant, who's famously gone through his own evolution over the years with regards to sensitivity towards the LGBT community, is also voicing his support.
