A quote from National Organization for Marriage Chairman John Eastman meant to attack families helmed by same-sex couples instead came off as a denigration of Chief Justice John Roberts' family. 

It looks there's at least one donor still willing to throw cash in the National Organization for Marriage's (NOM) direction. 

A unnamed donor's offering up to $500,000 in support of NOM's March for Marriage.

Demonstrations are now being organized to show support for marriage, with events popping up on Facebook and others being set up across the country by Get Equal, Marriage Equality USA and Equality Beyond Gender. The Supreme Court of the United States is back in session after the holiday break and has announced when it will take up Edie Windsor's case against the Defense of Marriage Act as well as Proposition 8. According to NBC News, the Supreme Court will will hear the marriage equality cases on March 26 and 27. Decisions regarding the hearings should arrive in June.
