While we're still waiting to hear how the Virginia House of Delegates will decide regarding the full-time appointment of openly gay judge, Tracy Thorne-Begland, we won't have to wait at all for any breakthroughs in efforts to repeal Virginia's same-sex marriage ban.

It appears Indiana Attorney General Greg Zoeller needs more added to his plate.

That's the only explanation we can come up with for why the clearly not busy AG is going out of his way to file a brief with the U.S. Supreme Court to get the Court to support the state's right to ban same-sex marriage.

This afternoon the Supreme Court of Mexico unanimously ruled in favor of three same-sex couples seeking to marry in Oaxaca, Mexico.

A Minnesota college student is fighting back against the pro-gay message that she feels is overtaking her school. We weep over her persecution.

Members of Concordia College's Straight and Gay Alliance have been selling "Love is Love" T-Shirts to celebrate National Coming Out Week. 

Rebecca Julius, a self-proclaimed devout Christian decided to create her own T-shirt. The message?

Former Prop.8 proponent and key trial witness David Blankenhorn came out in support of the marriage equality movement in a big way this past June when he wrote a New York Times opinion editorial detailing his evolution on the issue. 

He's now speaking out in opposition to Minnesota's proposed constitutional amemdment that would ban same-sex marriage.

It's convention fever! With the Republican National Convention convening this week in Tampa, attention is also turning to the Democratic National Convention, which will be hosted in Charlotte, North Carolina on Sept. 4-6.

Using North Carolina as the site of the DNC has caused some uproar in the wake of North Carolina's passage of Amendment 1, which banned gay marriage and civil unions in the state earlier this year. 

Still, some are arguing that hosting the DNC in North Carolina will highlight the problems faced by the LGBT-community.

He's recorded a radio ad combatting a proposed state constitutional amendment that would further cement Minnesota's existing ban on same-sex marriage. 

The NFL player calls Minnesota's existing ban on marriage equality “anti-American” and “anti-freedom.”

Two county clerks in Illinois have been given the green-light to defend Illinois' same-sex marriage ban against a lawsuit filed in the state's Cook County by 25 same-sex couples.

Cook County State's Attorny Anita Alvarez and Attorney General Lisa Madigan have refused to defend the same-sex marriage ban, citing their belief that it is in violation of the Illinois constitution. (This is similar to the Obama administration refusing to defend DOMA, based on their belief that it violate the US constitution.)
