Marie Osmond is currently making the promo rounds for her new memoir, The Key Is Love: My Mother's Wisdom, A Daughter's Gratitude, and she's speaking openly about her gay daughter, Jessica, and her own support for marriage equality.
Marriage equality is a bit of touchy subject for the Osmond family right now. Marie, herself, is a practicing Mormon and her brother Alan actually hosted a "pro-family" rally earlier this week in Utah in support of "traditional" heterosexual marriage.
See what Marie has to say after the jump.

We guess she can go to Starbucks...oh wait.
Leesa Dahl, who describes herself as "a pianist in the opera world," was outraged when a Manhattan coffee shop in Harlem called "The Chipped Cup" dared to draw a pink equal sign in solidarity with the marriage equality movement on its sandwich board outside of the door.
Check out her rant after the jump. (We have a feeling those opera gigs are about to dry up.)

You'd have to be colorblind not to notice the sea of change that flooded Facebook this week.
On Monday, the Human Rights Campaign promoted its red-hued equality sign and asked supporters of marriage equality to make it their profile picture in honor of the Supreme Court hearings; by Wednesday, a large portion of users had made the swap to state their support.
Today, in a rare glimpse at the data behind the scenes of the largest social network, Facebook breaks down the number of users who changed their profile pictures on Tuesday (the day of the Prop 8 hearing at SCOTUS).

Oy. Talk about an embarrassing video that'll come back to haunt you.
11-year-old Grace Evans testified in front of the Minnesota House Committee on Civil Law regarding why marriage equality shouldn't be legalized.
We're sure this was in no way prompted by her parents. Grace is apparently afraid that if marriage equality is legalized, then she's at risk of losing her mother--which we figure is probably representative of a much bigger issue at home...

Watching this clip from Piers Morgan Live practically had our head spinning.
Heritage Foundation Scholar Ryan Anderson made the case for why marriage equality shouldn't be legalized and the kindest thing we can say is that he was...articulate.
Thankfully, Suze Orman was there to speak on why same-sex marriage should be legalized and provided factual reasons to back up her argument.

It comes as no surprise but it is still very welcome that Beyoncé wants gay and lesbian couples to be able to legally marry. The one and only B unveiled her support for marriage equality via an Instagram note that reads: "If you like it you should be able to put a ring on it." Lady B followed the tongue-in-booty-cheek statement with a #wewilluniteformarriageequality hashtag.
Could we love her anymore?!
