Straight, err direclty on the heels of last week's decision against releasing the Prop 8 video tapes, the Ninth Circuit will tomorrow reveal the long-awaited ruling in the case of the constitutionality of California's same-sex marriage ban. Stay tuned to Instinct for the huge announcement (expected by 10 a.m. PST) on Tuesday. 

Also, a rally to respond to the Prop 8 decision has already been arranged to take place on the streets of West Hollywood between 6 and 9 p.m. For more information on the rally, organized by the NOH8 Campaign, Love Honor & Cherish, and other groups, head to the event's Facebook page. 

A new poll from Kean University and NJ Speaks shows that a majority of voters in New Jersey support Gov. Chris Christie's call for the civil rights of a minority to be voted on by the majority. 

"Lloyd Blankfein is not someone average Americans would think is going to support marriage equality," said Fred Sainz, vice president for communications and marketing at the Human Rights Campaign, which organizes the Americans for Marriage Equality videos. "The green visor crowd is not typically associated with socially progressive policies, and this is further proof that a diversity of Americans are coming to the same conclusion."

Further proof that our marriages are just the same as our hetero counterparts; we, too, have relationships that end. Unfortunately two of California's biggest proponents of marriage equality are now dealing with the ugy side of marriage—divorce.

As New Jersey continues to reinvent the wheel by holding the same marriage equality hearings over and over, a few gems of testimony manage to rise above the fray and adhere to our consciousness, whether for good or bad. If you've ever wanted to see a teen girl bring an entire room of adults to tears as she demands that the state recognize the love shared between her dads or an embarrassingly off-the-hinge "ex gay" nurse argue against civil rights, then follow the jump!

New Jersey Governor Chris Christie is sick of all the marriage equality criticism and wants you to know that it is very compassionate and "magnanimous" of him to demand that the rights of a minority go up for a vote by the majority that has no vested interest in the outcome. Tracey Cooper-Harris filed a lawsuit against the federal government yesterday after trying to claim benefits that would be given to the spouses in heterosexual relationships. Tracey and her wife, Maggie, were one of the over 15,000 gay couples married during a short window in California in which same-sex marriage was legal. Now, after the repeal of Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell, she is asking the military for something else: equality. More on this after the jump.

She helped push the tipping point over the edge in favor of equality in Washington, and now, as she readies her signature for the landmark legislation headed her way, Gov. Chris Gregoire is speaking out for full federal recognition of same-sex couples. Watch as Gov. Gregoire becomes the latest American for Marriage Equality, after the jump. 

The Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals has decided that the Prop 8 videotapes will remain sealed in its just-released ruling. Details follow. 

Last night, the Washington State Senate voted on and passed marriage equality legislation by 28 - 21. The bill moves now to the state's House, where it is expected to pass with a wide margin. Gov. Gregoire has promised to sign the legislation into law, an action that will make Washington the seventh state to provide marriage benefits to all its couples.

Ahead of the Senate's vote, openly-gay Sen. Ed Murray, the author of the bill, spoke about its importance. Follow the jump to watch.
