Straight, err direclty on the heels of last week's decision against releasing the Prop 8 video tapes, the Ninth Circuit will tomorrow reveal the long-awaited ruling in the case of the constitutionality of California's same-sex marriage ban. Stay tuned to Instinct for the huge announcement (expected by 10 a.m. PST) on Tuesday.

A new poll from Kean University and NJ Speaks shows that a majority of voters in New Jersey support Gov. Chris Christie's call for the civil rights of a minority to be voted on by the majority.

"Lloyd Blankfein is not someone average Americans would think is going to support marriage equality," said Fred Sainz, vice president for communications and marketing at the Human Rights Campaign, which organizes the Americans for Marriage Equality videos. Tracey Cooper-Harris filed a lawsuit against the federal government yesterday after trying to claim benefits that would be given to the spouses in heterosexual relationships. Tracey and her wife, Maggie, were one of the over 15,000 gay couples married during a short window in California in which same-sex marriage was legal. Last night, the Washington State Senate voted on and passed marriage equality legislation by 28 - 21. The bill moves now to the state's House, where it is expected to pass with a wide margin. Gov. Gregoire has promised to sign the legislation into law, an action that will make Washington the seventh state to provide marriage benefits to all its couples.

Ahead of the Senate's vote, openly-gay Sen. Ed Murray, the author of the bill, spoke about its importance. Follow the jump to watch.
