GLAAD handed out its annual Amplifier Awards honoring the best in LGBT advertising and PR Tuesday night. Though its year in advertising boasts a string of reasons it deserved the top honor last night, JC Penney's "First Pals" catalogue image featuring dads Cooper Smith Koch and Todd Koch and their kids Claire and Mason stood out. 

The family sent in a video acceptance speech as they received the Outstanding LGBT Image in Mainstream Advertising award from GLAAD. Check it out after the jump!

After breaking records on Kickstarter, Shane Bitney Crone's cinematic tribute to his late partner and fight for full federal civil marriage rights, Bridegroom, has received the green light for production. Details follow.

Without skipping a beat, the predictable "One Million" Moms has issued a statement condemning J.C. Penney's incredibly adorable gay dads Father's Day ad.

Claiming the "bromance" officially over, the National Post has once again caught our gayttention today with an update on Buddy and Pedro, the same-sex penguin pair forced apart to breed with females for population reasons. 

In the video released Thursday, Chad Allen talks about how he decided to come out publicly after he received e-mails from young people urging him to be an example. Catch the inspirational video after the jump.

We've had quite the soundtrack to accompany us through bad news this week and it doesn't end today. Our queer eyes have been on Wynter Gordon for most of 2010 thanks to the Guetta-produced "Dirty Talk." Now, as autumn settles in we get to revel in even more Wynter with "Believer," produced by the incomparable Freemasons. TGIF!
