Not surprisingly, San Francisco Pride's decision to name Army Specialist Bradley Manning as Grand Marshal of their Pride parade has been met with a lot of controversy, particularly among military personnel. 
 
Sean Sala, an LGBT military activist, is calling for a boycott of San Francisco Pride.

Tattoos on the butt or near sexual organs are as close to gaydar as the homophobic Russian Defense Ministry can get, apparently. According to the Ministry, tattoos in these regions indicate a person's sexuality, so it will naturally force soldiers to drop trou so that doctors can interpret their tattoos like some sort of inkblot Rorschach test.

The Marine Corps is putting its best foot forward in the wake of last month's controversy in which an Army same-sex spouse was denied admittance into a Fort Bragg officers' spouses club.

The Marine Corps has issued a legal advisory stating that spouses clubs operating on Marine bases must admit same-sex spouses if they intend to remain on base.

Servicemembers discharged under "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" had quite the victory today.

The American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) won their class action suit filed on behalf of 181 discharged veterans. Those former servicemembers will now receive full separation pay.
