If you had hoped Michele Bachmann seeking praise for her failed constitutional amendment to ban marriage equality in Minnesota yesterday was the last we'd hear from her on the issue for awhile, you might want to take a seat. 

As the state that gave us Crazy Eyes and Lady Fingers (aka The Bachmanns) officially becomes state No. 12 to offer marriage equality later today, a clip featuring Michele calling for "spiritual warfare" against gays and civil rights has surfaced.

Anyone in St. Paul who forgets they live in a state that's soon to allow marriage equality will remember when they're trying to cross the Mississippi River. Ahead of expected approval by the state Senate later today, Mayor Chris Coleman has renamed a landmark bridge in honor of civil rights.

After a lengthy and typically-contentious debate, Minnesota's House has approved marriage equality legislation. The measure now heads to the state Senate, where it is likely to be taken up over the weekend. 

Minnesota could be state #12 by the end of the weekend, y'all, and the first state in the Midwest to pass marriage equality by legislature.

Congrats, Minnesota LGBT on this pivotal step!

While the Minnesota Vikings have remained mum on the reasoning behind their dismissal of kicker and outspoken LGBT advocate Chris Kluwe, there's one high profile Minnesota figure who thinks there's something fishy about Kluwe being cut. 

Minnesota Governor Mark Dayton appears to attribute Kluwe's dismissal to his LGBT advocacy, and he doesn't appreciate it.
