While the Minnesota Vikings have remained mum on the reasoning behind their dismissal of kicker and outspoken LGBT advocate Chris Kluwe, there's one high profile Minnesota figure who thinks there's something fishy about Kluwe being cut. 

Minnesota Governor Mark Dayton appears to attribute Kluwe's dismissal to his LGBT advocacy, and he doesn't appreciate it.

Chris Kluwe's Minnesota Vikings may have ended their season earlier than they had hoped, but the gaydored punter is still getting plenty of press and mileage. Stephen Colbert, having returned from his holiday hiatus, invited Kluwe onto the Colbert Report to explain his marriage equality support. After all, according to Colbert, football players are a thousand miles from gay.

Apparently Minnesota Vikings punter, Chris Kluwe (see how knowledgable we are about football now? We know the positions and everything!) will be going full Eastwood on us tonight in Minnesota.

The out-spoken gay rights advocate will be participating in a debate on marriage equality opposite "empty chair," much like the legendary filmmaker at the Republican National Convention.
