PQ Monthly charts the evolution of John Paulk, a man who spent years as the the poster boy for reparative therapy, but now says "I no longer support the ex-gay movement or efforts to attempt to change individuals."

Comparisons between the gay rights movement and the Civil Rights Movement of the 1960's aren't new, but NOM head Brian Brown's comparison of his group's march against marriage equality to the historic civil rights marches of that period...well that's unexpected. 

“I was not alive during the Civil Rights Movement but this is what it must have felt like,” Brown said.

Students of Maryland's Prince George County Public Schools have been saved from appalling experiments of dangerous ex-gay therapy after local media caught wind of a dangerous program being taught in the district.

San Francisco 49ers, what's going on with you guys?! First the Chris Culliver gaffe and now some of you apparently wish you could take back your appearance in an "It Gets Better" video? This team is not doing its hometown proud this week. 

SF 49ers have denied their participation in the "It Gets Better" video seen 'round the world. After reporters showed them the video and the players saw themselves mumble some words from a script, they apparently wanted to distance themselves from the project.

Pastor Louis Giglio has reportedly removed himself from giving the benediction at President Obama's second inauguration. Apparently, reports that were uncovered on Wednesday detailing Giglio's homophobic history were enough to send him packing.

Last night's big win for marriage equality in the Senate Executive Committee wasn't enough for Equality Illinois, which has announced that it won't press the legislation in the remaining days of the state's lame duck General Assembly. 

Illinois could join 10 other marriage equality jurisdictions sooner than expected as news breaks that a vote on equal marriage rights has been moved to January. Though earlier defined as an unlikely scenario due to a hostile environment, odds for a successful marriage equality vote next month have apparently fallen in our favor. 

Many scholars say the anti-gay passages in Leviticus and Genesis were only added to the King James Bible in 1943. A new interpretation of the most famous tome of all time has arrived to scrub those modern additions in an attempt to reclaim a tolerant Christianity.
