Instead of letting one of the all time best films (it won eight Oscars) be, studio heads have decided to update My Fair Lady for a return to the silver screen. Who do those behind this horrible idea think can pull of Audrey Hepburn's job? Carey Mulligan, who was recently nominated for an Academy Award for her work in An Education, that's who.
The film's writer, Emma Thompson, confirmed that Mulligan would take the role of Dolittle, but squashed speculation that Hugh Grant would portray Henry Higgins.
