While the fight for marriage equality certainly isn't over, the National Gay and Lesbian Task Force is already looking ahead to the next challenges our community will have to rally together to face.

The momentum in terms of marriage is unstoppable, but what about the Employment Non-Discrimination Act which serves to protect LGBT people in the work place? What about immigration reform so that LGBT binational couples aren't unjustly separated? Keeping LGBT youth safe? Making sure our elderly community members are protected and taken care of?

As Republicans convene this week to assess their party's arguably failing platform, social conservatives are threatening to jump ship if the party takes any steps in the direction towards equality.
