We admit, we didn't actually know this was an issue, but we're thrilled that Equality California and the National Center for Lesbian Rights worked hard to bring attention to it.
 
Today, California Gov. Jerry Brown signed Assembly Bill 2356, will ensure that women in same-sex relationships and single women can access fertility services on the same terms as women in heterosexual relationships.

The Southern Poverty Law Center and the National Center for Lesbian Rights filed the lawsuit on behalf of "five students who have faced severe anti-LGBT (lesbian gay bisexual transgender) bullying and harassment while attending school in the (Anoka-Hennepin) district," a joint press release said.
