If Jodie Foster's insta-classic speech didn't clue you in, the gay awards season has kicked off, y'all!

The GLAAD Media Awards, arguably the gayest annual awards ceremony (sorry, Tony Awards!), welcomed a new class of nominees this morning. Which stars of pop-culture and media will vie for the honors in March (New York), April (L.A.) and May (S.F.)? 

Anne Hathaway can finally take a deep breath and eat a slice of pizza or something because the moment she starved herself for is finally here: the Academy Award nominations! 

Which films made the list and who got snubbed? 

Though Liz & Dick should've shut down the entire award industry by winning every honor imaginable, Lindsay Lohan's greatest triumph has been noticeably snubbed by the Razzies committee. Which movies were actually worse than the Lifetime Liz Taylor biopic? 

It's written in the Bible (or in the HRC training manual, can't remember which) that "those who support love shall be rewarded" or something. It's a great saying (even if we did just make it up after a lunchtime margarita or three, and it will come to life for the states of Maine, Maryland and Washington when marriage equality goes into effect in the coming months.

The shelter for homeless LGBT youth in New York City  (helmed by Instinct Leading Man Carl Siciliano) was devastated by the superstorm, but it appears that kindhearted souls (yes, there are a few  of them out there!) around the world have come to the rescue in a big way.

French President Francois Hollande spoke before the United Nations Tuesday and called on the international governing body to decriminalize homosexuality around the world. 

Beyoncé put her diplomatic skills to test earlier this month at the United Nations celebration of World Humanitarian Day. Illinois Republicans continue to keep it classy. In response to Chicago's anti-Chick-fil-A stance following the company president's anti-gay statements, Illinois Republicans are offering Chick-fil-A gift cards to anyone that donates to the GOP.

If that's not making your position on the LGBT community clear, we don't know what is.
