The 17th annual "Where We Are On TV" report from GLAAD, released today, reveals that LGBT representations on broadcast television series are at the highest levels ever! 

Same-sex marriage support is consistently on the rise--we've highlighted the major upswing amongst the African-American community--and now NBC Latino is reporting increased support amongst the Latino Community as well.

We're all excited about Wanda Sykes's election special New Now Next Vote With Wanda Sykes, scheduled to air on Monday, Sept. 10 on Logo at 10 p.m., and we may be getting a taste of what to expect from Sykes in this promotional interview with MSNBC's Thomas Roberts.

Sykes stopped by to chime in on this past week's Democratic National Convention and to get us hyped up for Monday's special!

Utah advocacy organizations Equality Utah and Utah Pride arranged a meeting between local LGBT families and executives of KSL and Bonneville International. KSL is the NBC affiliate that chose not to air The New Normal, based on its "questionable" (read: gay) content.

GLAAD announced that they'll be partnering with Equality Utah and Utah Pride Center to host a panel discussion and screening of the  The New Normal for Utah residents.

GLAAD's annual ranking of networks based on LGBT representations in television is finally here, just in time to give us a sense of where we need to direct our DVRs ahead of the fall TV season.

There seems to have been a bit of flip flopping in positions this year, but it's no real surprise who lands on the bottom and who was quick to assume the top. Before we get too distracted by the previous sentence's innuendo, let's take a look at how the networks rank in 2012!
