Fresh off a surprisingly safe New Year's Eve broadcast with our boy Andy, Kathy Griffin has announced her New Year's Resolution.
"I've already gone for Sarah, Todd and Bristol, obviously, but I think it's Willow's year to go down. In 2011 I want to offend a new Palin. She's called people a faggot on Facebook a couple of times -- you don't throw around the f-word without hearing from me about it."
Did you watch Kathy and Anderson ring in 2011? If so, how'd you feel about the tamed-down comedienne's performance?

We've limited our post-holiday diet to ice chips and Chaser Plus hangover-prevention pills, but still, we'll likely already be three glasses of bubbly in by noon tomorrow, Friday, December 31, and therefore won't be here to blog. Our fingers and legs are crossed that a few morning time hair-of-the-dog Mimosas on Monday will do the trick better than we plan to do this weekend, so check back Monday, January 3 when we return to the blog. Until then, relive the year that was 2010 with us in our complete list of "Instinct's Top 10 of 2010."
Happy New Year, Instincters!

It was revealed today that Mariah Carey is pregnant with not one but two little lambs, so 2011 will surely shape up to be a joyous year for one of our favorite divas. But to make it a great year for her fans as well, the greatest holigay gift from Mariah has finally arrived (and it's not the unintendedly-hilarious All About Mariah Carey Mariah Carey Christmas Special): the Rosario-remixed "Auld Lang Syne" (drawn from Mariah's Merry Christmas II You album) that we're willing to bet will be played on queer dance floors from San Diego to St. Tropez come New Year's Eve!
Follow the jump to listen to the beat-heavy remix and begin preparing your countdown choreography!

There was a pesky rumor going around that Kathy Griffin's ill-received Bristol Palin joke got her fired from her annual CNN New Year's Eve broadcast gig with Anderson Cooper, but if we know anything about the feisty comedienne, it's that she boasts a knack for being re-hired. In a side-splitting (seriously, it's a hilarious preview of the jokes she has lined up for NYE) video for E! Online, Kathy reveals that CNN has re-hired her for the second time this year to watch the ball drop with Anderson -- which she, of course, has a sordid punchline for (watch it after the jump!).
"I am thrilled to be joining forces with Anderson Cooper one more time on CNN—and his steely blue eyes—as we join forces to protect the world against Ryan Seacrest,"... FULL STORY

Want to know what will be playing on the flatscreen at whichever gay New Year's Eve soiree you decide to attend? Hands down, ankles up, chances are it'll be Dick Clark's Rockin' New Year's Eve special, which has just added Willow Smith to this year's lineup. The addition of Willow to the stage already adds to the very-gay friendly lineup which includes La Roux and Natasha Bedingfield!
Just a quick friendly warning: proceed with caution after whipping one's hair back and forth after the third glass of bubbly.

If you watched this year's New Year's Eve with Anderson Cooper and Kathy Griffin on CNN, you know that Kathy upped her ante considerable from the dick jokes of years past. Hardcore drug references, many quips depicting hottie Anderson Cooper pleasuring himself in front of the mirror and a joyful, happy new year f-bomb marked Kathy's glorious return to the network's special. And we enjoyed every tawdry second of it. CNN, not so much.
At the beginning of the broadcast Kathy waved around a contract that was nearly as heavy as our new year's day hangover, and described the lengthy list of items she could not legally emit during the broadcast. Guess the f-bomb was one of them as now Popeater is reporting that Kathy Griffin is banned by... FULL STORY

Whether or not he's gay, straight, in or out of the closet, CNN is certainly going for the gay demographic for Anderson Cooper's New Year's Eve special this year. Over the past few years our lady in red, Kathy Griffin, has been increasing her visibility on the program, last year becoming Coop's co-host. And even after her oops-this-is-totally-live-tv barrading of a Times Square drunk last year, CNN asked her to come back again!
Yay! Bring on the freaked-out producers.
But clearly Coop and Kathy aren't enough sass for the countdown, so CNN is throwing another mo in the mix: the not quite sassy, and probably not very funny, but very cute and very gay Lance Bass. Though CNN is sticking him in Vegas to join the broadcast on remote (see you ... FULL STORY

Updated: Logo has love for Adam Lambert, too, having just announced that Glambert will host NewNowNext Pop Lab on Monday, December 7!
Susan Boyle isn't the only one screwing over our boy Adam Lambert, ABC still isn't over the time he got a simulated bj and never called again. Typical. To further punish Glambert, ABC has canceled his upcoming appearance on the Jimmy Kimmel Show AND a performance on Dick Clark's New Year's Eve! But who's taking the higher (as in texturizing pomade spray and pompadour high... FULL STORY
