The magazine just released its latest issue which celebrates Mother's Day on its cover and artist Chris Ware decided to create a thoughtful homage to a pair of lesbian moms!

A conservative group looking to overturn New York's same-sex marriage law just got bitch slapped. 

The state Court of Appeals announced today that they had declined to hear an appeal from New Yorkers for Constitutional Freedoms, a group opposed to same-sex marriage.

We got our first look at the gorgeous Lana Wachowski (as well as the Wachowski siblings' new breathtaking film Cloud Atlas) back in July, but in this week's issue of The New Yorker, the famed director is only now talking about her decision to come out publicly as transgender. 

As New York City gears up to possibly acquire its first openly gay mayor in City Council Speaker Christine Quinn, a study from Quinnipiac University finds that an overwhelming amount of residents won't let her sexual orientation affect their vote. 

The New Yorker published a very interesting piece today regarding Chief Supreme Court Justice John Roberts and how he may potentially vote with regards to the gay rights cases that are swiftly making their way to the Supreme Court.

In light of what many are calling Roberts' "surprise" vote in favor of President Obama's health care plan, where he'll fall in the gay rights debate is subject to a great deal of speculation.
