Turns out we're not the only ones who dream of Joe Manganiello! In the latest episode of "Neil's Puppet Dreams," gay mafioso Neil Patrick Harris learns that his beau's dreams are much, much gayer. 

Neil Patrick Harris's web series Neil's Puppet Dreams doesn't premiere until Tuesday on Nerdist, but today we're afforded  an early taste of what mouth watering scenes we can expect. We figured this could be tacked on to last week's exciting news. According to Hollyscoop and countless other blogs, NPH is reportedly going to be opening this weekend's Oscars! He and Martin Short are said to be rehearsing a big song and dance number to kick off the 9 hour 3 hour show. First the Tonys, then the Emmys and now the Oscars?! What's next. Doogie?

Neil Patrick Harris, the octo-threat of Hollywood, has signed on to direct a production of Rent at the Hollywood Bowl running August 6 - 8.

From the LA Times:

This marks the first time that Harris has directed a musical theater production, said the L.A. Philharmonic. His stage acting credentials include "Assassins" on Broadway as well as a number Southern California productions...
