Set your DVRs for series record--HBO has just picked up its new San Francisco based gay dramedy pilot starring Jonathan Groff for a complete season!

We're already psyched to see what Jonathan Groff brings to the table in his upcoming HBO pilot centered around a group of gay friends in San Francisco, plus Kyle Patrick Alvarez's C.O.G. (which debuted at Sundance earlier this year).  

Now the out gay actor has lined up another project that's sure to be appointment television. 

Groff has joined the cast of Ryan Murphy's screen adaptation of The Normal Heart for HBO.

We've been fans of Rob Gronkowski for a while now.
