Again trying to take undeserved credit, One Million Moms is simply overjoyed by a restructuring at uber-gay-friendly JC Penney. 

Cooper and Todd, the dads who gave One Million Moms one million strokes by appearing in JC Penney's Father's Day catalog with their kids, have used their brush with the spotlight to provide more much-needed visibility for same-sex-helmed households.  

It hasn't been a good year for "One Million" Moms.

With a handful of failed boycotts, more than a few protests that resulted in free publicity and skyrocketing sales for their targets and a Facebook flop that resulted in the deletion of the OMM page, the one or two dozen moms who are hysterical over the idea that their children might be gay now have some harsh words from Adam Lambert to deal with. 

The reactionaries at "One Million" Moms were right on cue today in their condemnation of DC Comics for bringing the Green Lantern out of the closet. Also right on cue? GLAAD's adroit bitch slapping of the American Family Association subgroup. 

As expected, the American Family Association, parent organization of boycott happy One Million Moms (which makes AFA a meemaw, we guess!), is ready to put Target in its bulls-eye over that new line of Pride t-shirts we told you about yesterday. 

JC Penney has posted a $163 million loss for the quarter and "One Million Moms" really, really wants you to believe that it's due to their Ellen DeGeneres-inspired boycott. (Never mind the fact that OMM "moved on" from a.k.a. dropped its unsuccessful protest months ago.) Details follow. 

Having been publicly humiliated as it lost its first battle against JC Penney, the masochistic One Million Moms is returning to the site of the crime in a new attempt to protest the LGBT-friendly retailer. Though the hundred or so moms' second declaration of war against JC Penney again includes lesbians, this time around its a perfectly healthy and happy seeming "couple" that graces the pages of a new catalog that has OMM putting up its fists. 

The research department at A Couple Hundred One Million Moms must have taken the weekend off as evident in the ironic target of its latest anti-gay campaign. 

Now that the One Million Moms have dropped their disastrous boycott of JC Penney, we're kind of hoping they've started shopping there again, if only so that they can be assisted by one, Miss Ellen DeGeneres!

Ellen returned to the JC Penney where she previously worked to see if she's still got it. Does she?

"One Million" Moms will retreat to its dank basement with its tail between its legs to sniff out a new source of unreasonable outrage now that its protest against JC Penney and Ellen DeGeneres has officially been removed from its hateful agenda. Details follow.

Wow! One Million Moms are on a roll. First their unsuccessful threats to boycott JC Penney for hiring Ellen turned the retail partnership into an international media frenzy, doing wonders for the store. Now, a threatened boycott of Archie Comics due to the brand allowing its gay character to wed has lead to the issue in question SELLING OUT. Jeez, with how well the subjects of a One Million Moms boycott end up doing, perhaps the organization will threaten our non-existent six pack or our Etsy store?
