Voting for Amendment One is now less than a week away in North Carolina, and a new survey from Public Policy Polling shows that opponents of the anti-gay measure still have their work cut out for them. 

We're only a few weeks away from learning the fate of Amendment One, the homophobic legislation looking to ban all legal recognition of same-sex couples in North Carolina. Both sides of the legislation sees their activists more fired up than ever about the issue in this final stretch ahead of the May 8 election, a passion that was apparent in a discussion hosted by MSNBC's Thomas Roberts Wednesday afternoon.
