The magazine just released its latest issue which celebrates Mother's Day on its cover and artist Chris Ware decided to create a thoughtful homage to a pair of lesbian moms!

As our homo hearts palpitate, follow the jump to watch Cher and her 86-year old mother Georgia Holt perform "I'm Just Your Yesterday," a duet from Holt's upcoming new album, on Ellen.

This Reddit story did our heart good, although it also made us terrified for any gay kid currently being raised in an anti-gay church. 

Reddit user BMMiller10, who recently came out as gay, tells how his grandmother reacted during a church service when the church's pastor began an anti-gay sermon (and outed a gay teen in the process).
