Updated Thursday, January 6, 10:45 a.m. EST
It was only last week when Palm Springs Police Chief David Dominguez issued an apology for a despicable homophobic slur he emitted during a controversial anti-gay sting last summer. It seems it was the last nail in the coffin of a Police Chief who has endured relentless scrutiny for countless anti-gay stings in one of the nation's leading LGBT communities. But the Palm Springs gay community might suffer no more as today Chief Dominguez has announced his resignation:
"After careful consideration of the recent debates surrounding the Warm Sands Law Enforcement Operation, I believe this decision is in the best interest of my family, my health, the Department and the City," Dominguez wrote in a press... FULL STORY

The Palm Springs Police Department contacted Instinct Magazine after we published news of a gay-targeted sting that took place in the idyllic California community last year. "There's a better way to do things," admits Police Chief David Dominguez when asked about the city's use of undercover officers targeting gay cruising areas.
Other changes to the globally known gay-haven's police force include... FULL STORY

Continuing our lesbian-themed day on the blog (we love our skilled sisters!), Lady Gaga ripoff #1 Billboard artist Kei$ha has just been announced as the headliner of Club Skirts at this year's Dinah Shore lesbian mega-event in Palm Springs. Paradiso Girls and dance-artist Lolene are also on the bill, but considering how Kei$ha's lush-beat filled "Tik Tok" has taken control of airwaves, it's her addition to the bill that makes seeing other hot gay boys dancing at The Dinah a real possibility.
The lineup announcement begs us to ask a question that's been on our minds for a month now: How are you feeling about Kei$ha, ravishing readers? And yes, we're contractually bound to include the classy-lady dollar sign in her name.
