Dominic Sheahan-Stahl, a third-generation alum of Sacred Heart Academy in Michigan, was shocked to learn that his planned keynote address at Sacred Heart’s graduation ceremony was cancelled after the school discovered he was gay.

Though Seattle Archbishop J. Peter Sartain has launched a Catholic petition drive in an effort to repeal Washington's newly minted marriage equality law, not all parishes are obliging.
