Another weekend, another march filled with homophobes parading Parisian streets. This time around, however, French bigots were allegedly unwilling to respect their own city and subjected to crowd control measures by the Paris police force. Details follow.

As French lawmakers gear up to debate marriage equality on Tuesday, thousands of French demonstrators took to the Paris streets in support of same-sex marriage, today.

Well this is disconcerting. Hundreds of thousands of protesters took to the streets of Paris today in opposition of French President Francois Holland's plan to legalize same-sex marriage.

Didn't they have anything better to do? Brunch, maybe???

There is a small but YouTube-friendly group of French gay men who are opposed to marriage equality rights in France that have banded together to fight the country's pending legislation. Banding together under the name Homovox, the group has released videos on YouTube detailing their opposition to civil equality—videos which the National Organization for Marriage of course has copy + pasted into their own materials here in the States.

Men donning skirts and tights (separately or complementary) is certainly not sartorial groundbreaking. Eighteenth century aristocrats, for starters, not to mention flirtations in the fashion world periodically since the 1980s have seen adventurous souls with XY chromosomes courting these boldly ambiguous pieces.

Today the handsome duo were interviewed by MSNBC's Thomas Roberts (also a newlywed) and they actually addressed some tough questions regarding being role models in the African-American community and their thoughts on the upcoming Supreme Court marriage equality cases.
