The surprises in today's announced Emmy Award nominees are minimal (Mad Men, Downton Abbey, Modern Family, yadda yadda), but the exaltation of Lena Dunham's HBO hit Girls and the lack of loving for Parks & Recreation leaves plenty to discuss. Check out the full list of nominees after the jump! 

We still haven't rid ourselves of the welcome case of the vapors that Parks & Recreation's Nick Offerman and gaydored legend Megan Mullally inflicted upon us with their "Americans for Marriage Equality" video. Just as we're finally able to come up for air, Nick has to go and make us gush again by telling MSNBC hottie Thomas Roberts that right wing homophobes are "engaging in a war on love."

The goddess that is Megan Mullally joined her husband Nick Offerman (possibly our favorite part of Park And Recreation) in a new ad for Americans For Marriage Equality.

We've said a prayer to our patron saint, Karen Walker, in thanks.
