Today the Pentagon celebrated LGBT Pride Month.
No, they didn't raise a rainbow flag, or have Naval soldiers in sailor suits performing "YMCA" or "In The Navy," but they did take the time to respecfully honor and acknowledge the sacrifices of gay and lesbian servicemembers.

Though we didn't receive this gay flyer from a sweaty boy in red shorty shorts on the corner of Santa Monica and San Vicente in West Hollywood, we're still meeting it with a grin from ear to ear.
Last week we broke the news that the Pentagon would be celebrating its first ever Pride Month. This is one of the greatest images yet to come from post-DADT America, wouldn't you say?
That alone is deserving of its very own month of honor.

Late last week the Department of Defense released new details about expanding services from its Sexual Assault Prevention and Response Program to the families of straight servicemembers while explicitly excluding American LGBT troops. But the Servicemembers Legal Defense Network won't this DADT-esque discrimination go away lightly.
