A New Mexico photographer who received an discrimination judgment after refusing to photograph a lesbian couple's commitment ceremony is appealing to have the judgment overturned.

Wedding photographer Anne Almasy purchased a half page ad in Weddings Unveiled magazine, only to have her submission (the photo above of a lesbian couple on their wedding day) rejected by the publication.

Gay and lesbian summer paradise Fire Island took New York's brunt of Superstorm Sandy, forever altering the landscape of many LGBT East Coaster's vacation destination. One expert even believes that Sandy formed a new inlet across Fire Island that will permanently separate the island into two. 

We're curious. The Huffington Post brought this exhibition, titled "Asylum" by gay photographer/filmmake Alexander Kargaltsev to our attention.

In it, Kargaltsev captures Russian gay male asylum seekers that have escaped violence and discrimination in their country. The men have been shot naked against famous New York backdrops. 

The exhibit's curator, Ivan Savvine says of the work: "The models' nakedness is a powerful visual statement imbued with symbolism. They are not nude but naked, for they had courage to shed the many layers of fear and come out to the world uncovered, vulnerable, yet proud."

So here's our question: is this a legitimate commentary or just an excuse to get some hot Russian guys naked? You be the judge.&n...

(Well, they technically weren't as much "french kissing" as they were French friends who smooched, but you get the idea.)

French LGBT publication TÊTU tracked down the girls whose kiss was seen 'round the world to find out the story behind the brave (and photogenic) moment.

The New Jersey gay couple that had the image from their engagement photo manipulated and used without their permission as part of an anti-gay mailer by Republican political candidates are finally about to sue the no-doubt, ill-fitting pants off of those responsible!
