Following the President's press conference that labeled the Boston bombings as an "act of terror," the White House lowered its flag to half mast. 

Sony Pictures Co-Chairman Amy Pascal challenged Hollywood to take a big step in the right direction last night as she was being honored by the L.A. Gay & Lesbian Center at a sold out gala benefiting homeless gay & lesbian youth. 

Her message? Change the way we talk about gays in movies and eliminate gay stereotypes and slurs. 

She asks, “How about next time, when any of us are reading a script and it says words like fag, or faggot – homo – dyke – take a pencil and just cross it out."
