A trip to your local drugstore could soon include a free HIV test.

The Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has announced a $1.2 million pilot program that will offer free rapid HIV tests at pharmacies and in-store clinics in 24 cities and rural communities.

CBS has picked up the gay (or at least half-gay) sitcom Partners starring our beloved Michael Urie (and yummy Brandon Routh as his boyfriend)!

With members of the international LGBT community facing persecution and impending death, it’s no surprise that the numbers of LGBT refugees fleeing to the US continues to increase.

What’s notable is that these LGBT refugees often cannot connect with their respective immigrant and religious communities in the US because they’re ostracized based on their LGBT status. They enter the US with no safety net.

The Organization for Refuge, Asylum & Migration (ORAM) is working to change that.

ORAM has released the first ever guide for American LGBT and accepting communities to welcome people fleeing persecution in their home countries.

We were already loving the equation for CBS's gay sitcom pilot, Partners. Michael Urie + Brandon Routh as boyfriends = a letter writing campaign to the network demanding that it greenlight the pilot. But now with gaydored comedic diva Molly Shannon in the mix, the possibility for success is multiplied exponentially. 

The Department of Health and Human Services is set to launch a pilot program to test  “alternative donor deferral criteria” for gay and bisexual men to donate blood. 

Should the gay genetics-approved glow of the greenlight (it complements our skin tone!) shine gracefully upon Ryan Murphy's sitcom pilot A New Normal, then we'll have yet another yummy young gay couple to ogle weeklky come fall. When insiders first started buzzing about the Glee creator's newest baby, word of the show's cast only included Book of Mormon's Andrew Rannells. Now, after firing up Grindr and using OK Cupid's Quiver feature, Murphy has finally found a husband for the cute Broadway star: Justin Bartha. 

We miss Ugly Betty. We really do. It’s not quite the same watching Vanessa Williams on Desperate Housewives or Becki Newton doing her thing in various guest-spots. That being said, we’ll take the talented cast wherever we can get them, which is why we’re thrilled that it looks like our personal fave, Michael Urie will be returning to television this Fall in the new series Partners!
