There seems to be an undercurrent of prejudice sweeping over parts of the country (guns near Obama appearances; posters of politicians defaced to resemble Hitler). Researches call it the "Obama Effect", and utilize the Implicit Association Test to gauge latent prejudiced opinions.

I tested my tolerance (for once without the need for a safe word) and have learned that I'm mostly indifferent, which was a surprise. The Harvard-developed test isn't free of critics, but provides an interesting way to gain insight into one's subconscious.
