During a Monday afternoon press briefing, White House Press Secretary Jay Carney announced that President Obama is proud to officially support the "Respect for Marriage Act," which seeks to repeal the "Defense of Marriage Act."

President Obama, who signed the "Don't Ask, Don't Tell Repeal Act of 2010" late last year, continues to send mixed signals and infuriate gay servicemember groups by supporting the discriminatory law. The latest confusion sent by way of the Obama Administration arrives in a request asking the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals to reconsider last week's landmark anti-DADT ruling.
