Progress in Puerto Rico! Legislators approved a bill on Friday outlawing employment discrimination based on gender or sexual orientation. 

Lawmakers also extended domestic violence protections to gay couples in a separate bill.

Democratic Vermont Senator Patrick Leahy has withdrawn his proposed amendment to the Senate's immigration reform bill that would have recognized binational same-sex married couples and allowed them to apply for green cards.

His decision came after it became clear that he would not have the 60 votes needed for the bill's passage. Key votes from Democrats were lost as Republican Senators made it clear that they would vote down the bill if LGBT provisions were included.

New York City hip-hop DJ, Mister Cee, who was arrested back in 2011 for allegedly receiving oral sex from a 20-year-old male in his car. 

Cee's continued to claim that the incident was falsely reported, but a second arrest this past Friday for allegedly agreeing to have sex for money with an undercover policeman posing as a male prostitute has everyone sending Cee yet another around of side-eye....

Some students at the apparently uber-Catholic University of San Diego (USD) are planning a protest and and a prayer vigil denouncing a university-sponsored drag show that superstar queen Manila Luzon will be emceeing!

Around 5,000 students have signed a petition opposing the show.
