The NBA should feel pretty honored right now: because of all its homo-supportin' actions as of late (fining Kobe, partnering with GLAAD, supporting its players releasing pro-gay PSAs), it has become the target du-jour for Westboro; a target that has finally provoked the Kansas clan to update its patent signage, which it debuted at game three of the NBA finals.

Well, this must have been awkward for virulently homophobic New York State Senator Ruben Diaz, who held a rally against marriage equality in the Bronx on Sunday: his lesbian granddaugher showed up with her girlfriend to join a counter-protest against him!

Great news in the faith community today as the country wakes up to word that the Presbyterian Church U.S.A. has voted to allow the ordination of openly-gay and lesbian clergy and lay members.
