Dr. Sigmund Freud's intelligent and ahead-of-its-time response to a mother hoping to cure her son of a bad case of the gay is getting viral love on the Internet this week. 

So, what sage advice did Freud dispense to the concerned mom? 

A hero of the gay rights movement, psychiatrist and psychoanalyst Dr. Richard A. Isay, died Thursday following a battle with cancer at age 77.
