So we're big fans of NewNowNext's "Ask The Sexpert" series. It's fun, funny, and we have sex on the brain a lot of the time so we're generally ready to talk about it (and read about it, watch it, have it, etc.).

We were super surprised, however, by how thought-provoking the latest episode was.

"Adult-film performer" (and smarty pants) Conner Habib takes on the topic of "sexual racism" this week and he gives a truly well thought out, enlightening response.

See what Conner has to say to a reader who wonders if, as a white man, his attraction to only other white men makes him a racist.

Is the water getting too hot? National Organization for Marriage's head homophobe Brian Brown has issued a rare statement of damage control today in the wake of his organization's disgusting internal documents causing controversy nationwide. The vehemently anti-gay, anti-pornography and racist pledge that Michele Bachmann and Rick Santorum signed late last week continues to accumulate national scrutiny. Thank Oprah. Today, the women of The View lost their shit over Michelle's support of the ridiculous doctrine.

Cupcakes have achieved their pop culture fatigue. First a hit on the indie bakery scene in New York, then co-opted by Sex and the City before finally reaching its zenith as a silly reality TV show on Food Network, the signal that cupcake coolery has officially died is an out-of-the-box blackface scandal at the hands of Duncan Hines.

Though the foodstuffs company has removed it's YouTube videos showing bakers how to make "Hip Hop Cupcakes," Eater managed to keep it alive.

Judging from the ad posted here and the video, are the "hip hop cupcakes" worthy of controversy, Instincters?

Shocking, outrageous things happen at Walmart (as evident on my guilty-pleasure favorite time-waster, PeopleofWalmart.com), but this might take the angel food cake (made with powdered sugar, of course).

At a Wal-Mart in Glouco, Pennsylvania, shoppers were startled when racism took to the store's loudspeaker system a la 1955.

"Attention, Wal-Mart Shoppers," the male voice said. "Will all the black people please leave the store? Thank you."

At least the still-unidentified man was polite about his request, right? Wrong.

Police are investigating the matter, which is made complicated by the fact that the Glouco Wal-Mart has 700 employees who -- along with some members of the public -- have access to the branch's loudspeaker system.

Much criticism is being launched at Universal, which has clarified its reasons for removing a black couple from Couples Retreat promotions throughout the UK.

"The studio said it regretted causing offence and has abandoned plans to use the revised poster in other countries... A Universal spokesman said the revised advert aimed 'to simplify the poster to actors who are most recognisable in international markets," writes The Mail Online's Miles Goslett.

Despite its allged intentions, Universal is still the center to a race controversy brewing in Europe.

Keith Bardwell, the Louisiana justice of the peace who refused to marry an interracial straight couple, abruptly resigned today. Bardwell simply left the following message, "I do hereby resign the office of Justice of the Peace for the Eighth Ward of Tangipahoa Parish, Louisiana, effective November 3, 2009."

Bardwell caused a nationwide stir in October after he admitted to refusing to give a marriage license to the interracial couple out of fear for their possible children. The couple has since filed a lawsuit against Bardwell.

Halloween costumes seem to unleash dormant aspects of revelers’ personalities. For me, the holiday surfaces my inner tramp in increasingly skimpy outfits and bursts of glitter with each progressing year. If the purchasers of these costumes couldn’t glean that they were bigots from the misspelled signs they held at town halls during summer, perhaps fellow Halloween revelers will kindly inform them.
