Who would've imagined that Congress would be the showdown venue for more fashion related drama than Project Runway All Stars? Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid has invoked a grand ol' American tradition—burning things—the way of Ralph Lauren's China-made U.S. Olympics Team outfits (which feature the iconic American headpiece: the beret).

Sure we might prefer something that shows a little more skin, but the dapper duds from designer Ralph Lauren mark an improvement over more garish costumes of the past.
