Anderson Cooper is so upset with Star Jones for accusing him of coming out of the closet for ratings that he broke character for a split second to reveal something even rarer than a unicorn: the angry Anderson Cooper face that you see above (a.k.a. our new Halloweenie costume). 

What words did that gaping mouth have for Miss Star Jones?

Putting on her best "I'm just sayin'" face, Star Jones took to the Today show this week to suggest that Anderson Cooper stated the obvious to boost ratings for his daytime talk show. 

I risk being damned to hell 70 years ahead of schedule by including Oprah and the word desperate in the same sentence (she has the connections to make it happen, I'm sure), but that's the reality for mortals living in the Media Messiah's world. Though only Oprah and the Pope are considered infallible, it appears that the former is becoming concerned about her empire, if a rule-breaking command she issued to her followers on Sunday is any indication.

Sure, it has the infallible Betty White as part of its ensemble, but news that Hot In Cleveland is the year's highest-rated sitcom is a bit of a shock, right? According to Nielsen, the show reached a global audience of 4.2 million viewers to earn its spot at the top.

However, TVLand President Larry W. Jones attempts to downplay the Betty-effect in his response to the news.
