We thought college was the land of finding and expressing your true colors, or rainbow of colors, especially in Southern California. But let’s trek on over to Mailbu, which seems to be the land of surf, sun and “sorry, no gays here.” Maybe not for all of Malibu, but at least for Pepperdine University, where school administrators denied the request for a Gay-Straight Alliance. So why is this college awkwardly stepping backward whilst the rest of society continues it’s forward motion with LGBT rights?
