Chief Warrant Officer Charlie Morgan, a member of the New Hampshire National Guard and a lesbian, passed away this morning.

Morgan bravely battled Stage IV breast cancer while working tirelessly to see both the overturn of the Defense of Marriage Act and the extension of benefits to same-sex military couples.

Late last week the LGBT community and allies got a holiday gift in the form of another GOP lawmaker signing on to support the repeal of the Defense of Marriage Act.

The family of Josh Mandel, a GOP candidate vying for one of Ohio's seats in the U.S. Senate, took out a full page ad in the Cleveland Jewish News to put their kin's homophobic campaign on full blast. 

So, what brilliance does Mandel's own family have to share with Ohio's voters about his opposition to the LGBT community? 

And Tony Perkins wonders why his Family Research Council gets labeled as a hate group?

It couldn't possibly be because he and the group try to inflame anti-gay sentiment by drawing baseless correlations between the gays and well...everything.

President Joyce Banda has let down the LGBT community in her southern African country after breaking her campaign pledge to trash Malawi's archaic anti-homosexuality laws.

It might feel odd not to boo a guy on the Republican ticket, but the rest we're able to give those part of our vocal chords is quite soothing after a lot of recent use. Huge news for LGBT veterans in California who were discharged from the military as a result of "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" (DADT)!

Today, Governor Jerry Brown signed Assembly Bill 1505, authored by Assemblymember Richard Pan and co-sponsored by Equality California and Sacramento Valley Veterans, which designed to remedy inequities faced by veterans discharged under DADT and its predecessor policies.
