Reddit user "daftzak" shared the letter that he wrote to his AP English teacher as part of an assignment in which students were asked to write an essay about a “weight that I carry daily”
Daftzak's "weight" was that he is gay.

The website Letters Of Note has unearthed an awesome piece of correspondence between ex-gay former Focus On The Family member, Mike Haley and Will & Grace Story Editor, Jon Kinnally.
In the June 2000 letter, Haley takes Kinally to task for an episode of Will & Grace that mocked the ex-gay movement (an ex-gay leader was memorably portrayed by Neil Patrick Harris).

Gay men have already threatened straight men with the consequences they'll have to endure if they don't support marriage equality (and the straight male response implied that they weren't exactly quaking in their boots).
Well, not to be counted out, the lesbians have chimed in--and they're taking one for the team as well.
Our sapphic sisters have some tough words for straight women: "Gay women will marry your boyfriends."
