We reported back in May that Tracy Thorne-Begland, the openly gay Virginia prosecutor whose circuit court judicial nomination was rejected because he was gay, could potentially be appointed on an interim basis by the Richmond circuit court.

The Richmond circuit court has done just that, much to the dismay of those bigoted officials that thwarted his appointment in the first place.

...unwillingly. But donations are donations, and I guess a bit of thanks is actually due to the Westboro Baptist Clan for their upcoming anti-gay, anti-Semetic protest in Richmond, Virginia.

For every moment that the notorious roving-asylum thrusts misspelled signs of hate into the faces of those passing by, Pennies in Protest -- thanks to donations of $0.01 to $1.00 per minute from generous citizens -- will give money to local pro-GLBT orgs in Virginia.

Kudos, Pennies in Protest. To help the Phelps Klan raise money to support gay causes, visit the group's website.
