Yummy MSNBC news anchor Thomas Roberts is on his way to the altar, where he'll become the first cable news anchor in a same-sex marriage.

We'll definitely being taking notes on the nuptials as we plan for our impending wedding with Anderson Cooper, but in the meantime, we'll let Thomas have his time in the spotlight!

An amendment, proposed by Republican House Rep. Steve King (Iowa), that would ban same-sex marriage on military bases and prohibit military chaplains from performing same-sex marriage ceremonies passed with a vote of 247-166.
