Stephen Baldwin snagged our attention earlier this month, and not the tingly way he did in the movie, Threesome. After Kirk Cameron’s initial attacks on the LGBT community, Baldwin tweeted his support and appeared on CNN opposite George Takei to continue defending Kirk, who, let’s face it, isn’t just on our s### list; he's got his own by now. Last Friday Baldwin appeared on the Rosie show to do damage control. If we’ve learned anything from our journey with Rosie on The View, she doesn’t let anyone off easy. Video after the jump!

Updated 4:00 p.m. PST

We previously reported on gay, legally married couple, Brian Willingham and Alfonso Garcia, as they fight to keep Garcia from being deported back to his native Mexico. The couple has no legal protections as a result of the Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA).

With pressure continuing to build regarding President Obama’s “evolving” stance on marriage equality—many members of the LGBT community just want him to take a solid, public stance on the issue—it comes as no surprise, that the President’s advisers “have held serious discussions with leading Democrats about the upsides and downsides of coming out for gay marriage before the fall election,” according to a Democratic strategist connected to Obama’s inner circle.

These discussions have invited some interesting debate.

President Obama has been notoriously quiet on his “evolving” stance towards the issue of same-sex marriage. While he’s consistently provided more rights to LGBT citizens, he’s seemed hesitant to fully commit to what appears to be inevitable: marriage equality for all.

Well, he appears to be dipping his toes into the water. Friday, the President publicly opposed the the North Carolina ballot initiative that would enact a state constitutional amendment that would define marriage as between one man and one woman and deny same-sex couples the right to civil unions.

Though “out of sight” isn’t always out of mind, we’ll take it for now as the Pennsylvania house decided today to delay its vote on their very own ban on same-sex marriage. Who are the players this time, and is the bill gone for good?

It looks like things could get interesting when North Carolina voters head to the polls in May.

A new Elon University Poll taken between Feb. 28 and March 1, shows some evolution in the views of North Carolina voters and it could have a direct impact on the success or failure of the proposed state constitutional amendment that would define marriage as “between one man and one woman.”

We’ve heard of gay candidates and proponents of gay rights being beaten down in politics by their right wing opposition, but a few ultra conservatives somewhere must’ve seriously misread the How To Tame Your Gay Mayor handbook. Oh, wait, that’s not a real book. But, what else could be the case for the outrage for Houston’s openly gay Mayor Annise Parker’s participation in the fight for same-sex marriage? Whatever the reason, this lesbian leader is shaking up the Lone Star State and some are not too happy about it...
