The Obama administration's amicus brief, filed last week, shot down what's being described as a "key" argument on the part of congressional Republicans in the Supreme Court's Defense of Marriage Act case.

The Obama administration's brief asking the Supreme Court court to overturn California's Prop. 8 makes some interesting legal arguments.

Coulter did, however, respond to questions on her opposition to same-sex marriage (along with providing commentary on how we live in a socialist welfare state and implying that we should declare war on Syria??).

The lovely Julianne Moore took home a SAG Award this past weekend for her role in Game Change, but we may be partial to her performance in The Kids Are All Right. (What? We like stories about same-sex parents. Sue us!)
It should come as no surprise that Moore is a staunch supporter of same-sex marriage and she touches on the subject in an interview with the UK's The Sunday Times Style Magazine.
See what she has to say after the jump!
